Not/Innocent I

October 6, 2009

For the first time I’ll be doing a series of visual poems because when I began thinking about creating my next visual poem I got a series of related but different images forming different poems. So–we’ll see! I’m excited! This is the first: Not/Innocent I.

    Visual Poems
This is an intreging idea – I’ve never heard of it before but it seems similar to the way I’m filling a not book for the Escape Into Life.
I haven’t read the rest yet so I maybe being silly!
I find the crash test dummy quiet forlornly scary – somehow childlike and old.
I shall stop now before I go off into arty waffle 🙂

      Re: Visual Poems
I love arty waffles. 🙂 Please do go on. It actually helps me with my work. Glad visual poetry resonated with you. You have to let me know when your notebook goes up on the EIL website so I can check it out. I doubt you’re being silly!! Love the comment about the “crash test dummy”-I actually had not thought about it being that-I was focusing on dolls and models and (other) dummies for my theme and this was a type of doll. But I like your crash test dummy interpretation better! It does look like one and fits my theme beautifully.
